I just graduated to 1st cup in Taekwondo on monday february 1st. I will get my black belt in october! This is something I have allways wanted ever since I was a little kid. Now I am 46 and I finally see my goal coming alive right in front of me.
My red belt with 3 black stripes...
What a great feeling when you set a goal, and achieve it. This is something I have always had a problem with. All that will change now though. When I can take a black belt in Taekwondo at the age of 46, I can certainly do other things that I have always wanted also…like becoming a millionaire.
So that is next. I have studied online marketing for a few years now, and feel that I am ready to take on the task of growing an online business.
I have also done Network Marketing on and off for the last 7 years. Mostly off though because I haven’t been able to make it work for me.
Now I know why…lack of marketing education, and lack of the ability to just sit down and get things done.
Like I said…all that are changing with this Taekwondo belt. I guess I haven’t realized that I am ONE single graduation away from my long time goal. Guess it haven’t sunken in yet.
Thanks to my instructor Tom Rune Kristiansen 2nd Dan, and my master Sigvald Martinsen 6th Dan who incidentally will graduate to Grandmaster 7th Dan as I am graduating to 1st Dan.
I feel like life is just starting…and it is….I hereby declare that a new era in my life starts right now.

I have been through a lot of marketing stuff, courses, free instructional videos etc. the last months. Many times the information is good, honest, and presented with integrity. Other times, the person presenting the material tell you to lie to get into CPA Networks, bend the truth beyond recognition to “Get The Sale”, and fabricate stories, testimonials, and fake images just to get the point across.
Is that really nessecary, or is it possible to do Online Marketing with complete honesty and integrity?
Is it possible to create an ad that is so good, with so great writing skills and appeal that it outpulls doshonest ones by a landslide? I think so…
This past week I have been thorugh a couple of courses on CPA marketing. I will not mention any names or productnames, but one of them…great material by the way, outstanding strategies to make more money than you can wrap you mind around…but parts of the course was full of encouragement to lie and cheat your way into the CPA networks.
Is that really nessecary? I don’t think so. I think there must be a way to do that with honesty. I would never lie my way into anything. Making money based on a lie is not real money. To make real money, you must enrichen the lives of other people. To be rich and wealthy, you cannot lie and cheat. There must be total honesty and integrity.
Here is my viewpoint: Real marketing and advertising consists of this:
Taking all the truths about the product or service you want to promote or advertise
Find as many different powerfull ways to put those thuths as possible while still being completely honest and in full integrity
Sort those truths by which ones are most powerful and emotional, the most powerful and emotional at the top
NOW you have the basis of putting together ads, salesletters, and other material that will be honest, truthful, and in full integrity
I honestly think this must be a much better way of doing things. I also think that the target audience, the prospect and customers are becoming more and more sceptical to dishonest advertising, and can spot these things…

A week or so ago I came across some interviews with two of the most famous legends in copywriting. The late Gary Hallbert, and John Carlton.
More than 6 hours of free recorded conferences Michael Fortin interviews Hallbert and Carlton.
Go listen to them now, and if you are a newbie like me, suck in everything you can that these guys are talking about, then TAKE ACTION.
If you are a seasoned marketer or copywriter, I am pretty darned sure you will find gold nuggets in these recordings. These guys are the real deal. Even if you do not agree to everything they say, don’t take their word for it if you don’t want to, put it on a site, set up a split test, and find out if it works better than what you are doing now!

I just finished a 112 page ebook written by Paul Myers of http://www.talkbiznews.com. I have been on Pauls email list for years…ever since I bought his course on listbuilding called “The Amazing List Machine” on september 24th 2002. You might remember it if you have been in this game for a while.
But, like so many other things people buy online hoping it will somehow magically be the missing link that will automagically create wealth and fame in their online business efforts…it has been sitting there on my harddrive for the last SIX and HALF YEARS.
So…I dove into it like a hungry lion when I bought it, but for some reason I never finished it and never did anything with the information i got from it either.
Why? I wasn’t ready for success. I have done the same thing over and over and over again. Buy marketing related stuff online hoping to somehow magically become wealthy online overnight.
